Mill City Serenaders

The Mill City Serenaders
are four Minneapolis musicians who have been playing together for more than a decade, and performing individually
and with other ensembles for over a century — collectively, that is. The band's usual lineup is twin fiddles, banjo, and guitar. Harmonicas, double-bass, ukulele, vocals, and small percussion instruments add to the fun. The Serenaders' repertoire encompasses not only square and contra dance music but also minstrel tunes and songs, fiddle rags, waltzes, polkas, schottisches, and the occasional parlor ballad.

The Mill City Serenaders are John Heine on Banjo, Pam Longtine on Fiddle, Sarah Shaftman on fiddle and Myron Price on Guitar and Harmonica.
