Mary and Geoff are quite likely the most prolific singer/songwriter
duet in the Upper Midwest. Mary has won a slot in the International
Bluegrass Music Association’s first songwriters showcase
in Louisville, Kentucky, as well as multiple honors at the Walnut
Valley Festival in Winfield, Kansas. She writes songs, plays
guitar, and sings. Geoff has won flatpicking guitar contests
in Kansas, California, Colorado, and Texas. Geoff writes instrumentals
for guitar and frailing banjo, sings and does a good bit of
the arranging for Mary’s songs. A performance will include
old-time country, alternative country, waltzes, country blues,
ballads, honky-tonk, flatpick guitar tunes, and frailing banjo
tunes.
