The Minnesota Bluegrass & Old-Time Music Association presents four major festivals every year:

Minnesota Homegrown Kickoff. June 4-6, 2010. An outdoor festival held the weekend after Memorial Day at El Rancho Manana near Richmond, MN, featuring leading regional bluegrass, old-time and related acoustic MBOTMA member bands, plus workshops, jam with the bands, the gathering place, jam sessions, and more.

Minnesota Bluegrass & Old-Time Music Festival. August 12-15, 2010. Held annually at El Rancho Manana the second weekend in August, this year will feature Blue Highway, The Gibson Brothers, Rarely Herd, and many more. Four days and nights of music on multple stages, great national and regional bands, workshops and showcases. Nominated as IBMA Event of the Year in both 2005 and 2007! |

Winter Bluegrass Weekend: A Festival of Bluegrass & Old-Time Music and Dance. Takes place the first weekend of March every year. The Showcase of Bands features over forty groups running continuously on two stages; the Old-Time Music & Dance Hall is host to old-time concerts and dances; a national band is featured in two Saturday night Headline Concerts. Plus workshops, vendors, the Gathering Place, jam sessions, and more. Held the first weekend in March at the Radisson Hotel & Conference Center in Plymouth, MN. |

Harvest Jam. Takes place in November every year. A three day indoor festival featuring ballroom concerts, the "Race for a Place" band contest, a banquet dinner, Kips Live Open Mic, band development workshops, and plenty of jam sessions. Held at the Minneapolis Marriot West.
