Showcase of Bands

I'm privileged once again to be scheduling our MBOTMA member bands to showcase for this up coming Winter Bluegrass Weekend. There are now about 45 groups in all! Two stages will be needed to schedule all the fun: The Nechville Banjos Stage (Auditorium) and the My Favorite Guitars Stage (Europa Room). All three categories will be represented, bluegrass, old-time stringband, and various related genres of acoustic groups. The Showcase of Bands starts on on Friday at 6:00 PM and runs through 5:00 PM Sunday.

The Europa Room: Open Stage & Buffett Dinner

Stop by the Europa Room Stage while attending the Winter Weekend. Entertainment begins Friday at 6:00 PM and continues until 11:45 PM. On Saturday morning there will be an open stage beginning at 10:30 AM and it runs until noon. Be sure to sign up in the Gathering Place on Friday evening beginning at 7:00 PM if you wish to perform. Some great bands are scheduled to perform Saturday afternoon. After 5:00 PM Saturday the Crowne Plaza will be serving a buffet dinner. There will be seats up front for those who just want to hear the music. For you others who want to eat, no reservations are necessary.
